This V.I.E. position is the 1st step of the talents program of the group VICAT.
National Cement Company subsidiaries of VICAT company is implanting a new kiln line in Ragland Alabama. The project consists of improving the energy efficiency and increasing the clinker production capacity by replacing the existing kiln line with a new one (5000 mtpd) and various side works Project including an installation to receive and introduce alternative fuels.
The project is extremely ambitious and aims to achieve 100% substitution at 5 years, and be aligned with VICAT group’s objectives to reduce CO2 emissions significantly by 2030, and with the ambition of carbon neutrality across the entire value chain by 2050.
Overall goal:
- Integrate the project Team & the Plant team
- Manage the process of the Project (New Kiln Line) deficiency list.
- Integrate the commissioning team in 2022.
- Maintenance : Integrate new spare parts in existing system
Main missions and tasks:
1 - New kiln line deficiency list :
Under the supervision of the project manager and the Construction manager:
- Create and maintain the deficiency list (multiple inputs : Project & Plant team / Suppliers & Contractors)
Deficiency list corresponds to all pending works / incomplete / corrections required to commission the works.
- Insure high quality and proactive follow-up.
- Review the site execution of the corrective measures in coordination with the Construction manager
- Maintain the associated summary tables & KPI’s
- Participate to project meeting.
2 - Participate in the commissioning of the New Kiln Line
- The candidate may participate to the commissioning activities of the new kiln line
3 - Maintenance – K2 spare part management
- Integrated to maintenance department – Assist to integrate /categorize new spare parts in the system
