The group Vicat has been present in Kazakhstan through its subsidiary Jambyl Cement Company since 2010. Through the quality of its production and logistics, Jambyl Cement Company has established itself as the benchmark cement manufacturer in this country. Jambyl Cement Company cement plant is located at Mynaral, 450 km from Almaty. Its annual cement production capacity is 1.6 million tons.
We are looking for the Cement plant Director (W/M) of the cement plant of our subsidiary Jambyl Cement Company, in Kazakhstan, based in Mynaral.
· Complies with and ensures compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on HSE and environmental standards and follow the group Vicat’s corporate policy on HSE, and compliance, and CSRD ESG. Ensuring healthy and safe working conditions for subordinates and performers, monitoring their compliance with the requirements of legislative and regulatory legal acts on labor protection and the group Vicat’s standard.
· Responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance areas of the factory, outlining action plans through alignments with the production areas, controlling costs, deadlines and schedules, to maintain the organization and full operation of machines and equipment.
· Structuring with the board of directors the planning of the area, defining priorities, investments, material and human resources to meet the demands and other variables for the short, medium and long term, submitting to the approval and subsequent support of the budget planning.
· Manages the maintenance processes of the factory's equipment and machinery, providing a trained team, directing the area's goal plan through the definition of processes for the execution of activities, in order to keep the production process in full operation, avoiding losses with breakdowns and unnecessary stoppages.
· Defines the maintenance plan, planning the schedule with the teams, based on the analyses and studies carried out in the history of use of machines, productive equipment, replacement of parts and maintenance performed, in order to direct the production schedule to the best practices of stoppages without loss of production efficiency in compliance with the business plan.
· Participates in discussions with the managers of the production areas, aiming to seek the best solutions and feasibility of costs and deadlines, to achieve the objectives in productive efficiency.
· Performs analysis of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance indicators of the factory's equipment, applying corrective actions when necessary, aiming at meeting the established goals.
· Defines the structuring plan for predictive and preventive maintenance processes, analyzing feasibility of cost and deadlines, in order to direct the teams and managers involved in the fulfillment of maintenance operations.
· Promotes the professional growth of the team, paying attention to the need for improvement, requesting internal and/or external training, monitoring the development and results obtained, in order to improve the capacity and resourcefulness of professionals in their area of expertise regarding the quality and productivity of services.
· Performs the budget control of the area, analyzing the department's costs and allocating them as needed to achieve the company's goals.
· Participates to manage efficiently and keeps on improving the reduction of the CO2 emissions (and other greenhouse gas).
Reporting:
The Maintenance Director reports directly to the Cement plant Director.
· Mechanical or Electrical Engineer degree with a proven track record in heavy industry at least over the last 20 years.
· At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
· Technical knowledge in mechanics and/or electrical - AutoCAD - MS Project - Project Management.
